■ Newly established comprehensive basic research center integrating electronics technology, ME technology, mechanical technology, and materials technology
1981
■ Started basic research and development of artificial tooth roots at Tokyo Medical and Dental University’s Institute of Medical Devices and Advance.
1983
■ Apatite Chemistry Laboratory established for basic research on biomaterials.
1988
■ First Clinical Trial Begins at Mitsui Memorial Hospital
1990
■ Second clinical trial started simultaneously at Mitsui Memorial Hospital and Nippon Dental University.
1991
■ Submission of clinical trial results to the Ministry of Health and Welfare (now Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) and application for approval of AQB
1993
■ Established CTD (Creative Technology and Development Laboratory) to propose advanced implant superstructures.
1994
■ Obtained product approval for artificial tooth root AQB Implants
■ New Materials Research Laboratory established to develop basic materials and products.
■ First AQB training session held
■ Started selling AQB 1-piece implants.
■ Started production of AQB implants at Apatite Chemistry Laboratory
1995
■ Establishes Tokorozawa Plant to manufacture dental materials and begins full-scale production of AQB implants.
1998
■ Founder of the IAI（Innovational Advanced Implant Association）
2000
■ Artificial Dental Root Division is established as the sales and marketing division for AQB Implants.
2002
■ AQB 2-piece implants are now available
2003
■ Changed from Artificial Dental Root Division to AQB Division in order to establish a sales and marketing structure to meet rapidly increasing needs.
2005
■ Established GQP and GVP (quality control and safety control) in the Quality Control Department in accordance with the enforcement of the revised Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
2007
■ Started selling AQB 1-piece T-type implants
■ Advanced Medical Devices Laboratory established for research and development of dental peripherals.
2008
■ Publication of the AQB Specialty Book, Basic Edition
■ Obtained manufacturing and sales certification for functional super hybrid [KAGUYA BLOCK]
■ Launched a DVD for dental clinic publicity.
■ Established the Japanese Society for Advanced Implant Medicine (AIM).
